for child & youth counsellors, teachers, probation officers, social workers, psychologists, psychiatristsand others who work with antisocial youth

Day 1 - Troublesome Childrento top

  • Discussion of the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of disruptive behaviour disorders
  • in children including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Conduct Disorder.
  • A School Psychologist will discuss managing troublesome children in the school.

Day 2 - Juvenile Offendersto top

  • A review of the research indicating what has been found to be effective in reducing recidivism.
  • There will be presentations on managing youth in custody, secure settings, and community settings.
