Comments from Readers Youth Update Celebrates Its 15th Anniversary Youth Update was launched 15 years ago with a grant from the Laidlaw Foundation. It was felt that research in the field did not significantly affect clinical practice. Research findings were neither easily available nor understandable to the majority of workers in the field because studies were often published in professional journals in highly technical language. Youth Update's mandate was to make this information available to front-line staff. Youth Update has fulfilled mandate. We have subscribers across Canada and from many disciplines. Below are some short comments from our readers.
